Google Home integration - Custom room names and specific zones (X40 Ultra Pro)

​I am experiencing the exact same issue as many other users with my X40 Ultra Pro.
​I have created several custom rooms and zones that are not available in the default app list, such as "Entrance" and "Toilets" (which is quite surprising they aren't pre-programmed).
​More importantly, I created a specific zone named "Table" that I need to clean regularly after every meal. My goal is to automate these cleanings via Google Home voice commands, but currently, only the pre-programmed names are recognized.
​As a user of a premium "Pro" model, it is very frustrating not to be able to use voice control for the areas I clean most frequently. Are there any plans to allow Google Home to recognize these custom labels, or at least to significantly expand the list of pre-programmed room names?

At the moment, there are no related plans, as Google does not support the recognition of custom room names, so there are currently no updates planned in this regard.

However, regarding your suggestion to significantly expand the list of available pre‑programmed room names, we will actively forward this feedback to our technical and R&D teams as an important reference for future product optimization and updates.

​However, I must insist. I previously owned a Roborock S5 Max, and this feature was already working perfectly. It is hard to accept that a flagship model like the X40 Ultra Pro in 2026 is less capable in terms of smart home integration than an older competitor's model.
​The current list is far too restrictive for a 'Pro' user:
​Specific Zones: I need to clean the 'Table' area after every meal.
​Family Use: I cannot name my children's bedrooms (e.g., 'Leo's Room', 'Emma's Room'), which is essential for voice commands.
​Missing Basics: Even 'Entrance' or 'Toilets' are not in your pre-defined list.
​To be honest, if Dreame cannot provide a concrete update for this within the next firmware, I will feel forced to replace my brand new X40 with a Roborock Q Revo Master. For a daily user, these automation features are just as important as the suction power.
​I don't want a generic 'we will forward this' reply. Can you confirm if this specific fix is on your immediate roadmap, or should I proceed with switching brands to get the functionality I need?

Hello,

Currently, when using Google Home for voice control, only the default room names are supported, and customized room names are not available. This limitation is due to the fact that Google itself does not yet support the recognition of custom room names, so we are unable to configure this feature on our side for the time being.

However, in our newer high-end models (such as the X50 and above), we have introduced Dreame’s in-house voice assistant, “OK Dreame.” With this assistant, users can directly use customized room names for voice control, enabling a more flexible and personalized cleaning experience.
