Have had my X40 Ultra for a week or so, all good. It has undergone for a floor map, a couple cleaning sessions etc…
However during the last cleaning session, the map got updated (obviously the floor map has not changed! I believe this is due to the robot overlooking from the window where I had the curtains opened, but there is glass window and I am on the first floor).
For the moment I manually added a “divisor” so that the robot know there is actually nothing there past the window in case it thinks there is more, but it’s super weird.
Has anyone experienced this odd behaviour?
I am also unable to remove the excess.

Hello, this is normal. The robot will continuously update the map during the cleaning process.
This may happen if you encounter a highly reflective surface such as a mirror or glass. The extra maps cannot be deleted for the time being. You can set the extra maps as restricted areas.
